Pairing 2 Gear S's to one Phone

So I have 2 Gear S's (white variant and black variant) and I want to be able to connect them at different times to my Note 5. I can pair and connect the first one and functionality via bluetooth is perfect. When I go to connect the second one, Gear Manager wants me to perform a factory reset to the second watch. I've repeated this pairing/connecting process numerous times and it results in the same behavior.
