Hi, I just found out that the Samsung Gear s2 is now available for pre order (Sept 8, 2015 for Oct 2, 2015 release) on bestbuy.ca. Here is some more info:

That price is probably $399 canadian dollars which is approx $300 US dollars.

That video is of the bestbuy.ca website so that means that's the Canadian best buy site and Canadian pricing. We pay about $100 more up here right now because of the exchange rate and whatnot so I'm guessing just like the poster above said that same model will come in at around $299 in the U.S.

In case anyone is wondering the Gear S2 Classic is listed at $429 cnd dollars so only $29 more ...

where to pre-order the Samsung gear S2 3G?

I am a little disappointed, I prefer the classic but wont sacrifice the 3G.

Any ideas when and where the 3G model will be available?

Hi Guys/Gals,

Just an update:

So there was some news yesterday on how Samsung sold out their 1000 pre order stock of Gear S2 smart watch in S. Korea:

I pre ordered my Gear S2 on Sept 8, 2015 at bestbuy.ca and the confirmation said that I would receive the watch by the Oct 2, 2015 release date. But yesterday, I was informed by BestBuy that Samsung pushed back their release date to Oct 16, 2015.

You can still pre order at bestbuy.ca however, here is the info again just in case:

Update Oct 6, 2015: found out today if you pre order on bestbuy.ca you will get a 10 per cent discount on your wearable using the "WTPREORDER" code at check out!

Update Oct 16, 2015: Well, seems like Samsung postponed the release date to Canada AGAIN!!! I pre ordered on Sept 8; initially suppose to have been released Oct 2, the Oct 16 (today) and now I just received an email from bestbuy.ca that it will now be released Oct 30!

I'm beginning to hate Samsung Operations and Distribution. They need to get their asses in "gear"...get it? =-)

Just go to best buy. I walked in to my local best buy this morning and they had received 5 units... I picked up the last one they had left and cancelled my pre order being that like yours mine had been pushed back to Oct 30th. Weird that I pre ordered about 3 weeks ago and they push my pre order back yet I can walk in and grab one today!

BTW, if you are in Canada and had several deferred dates for release of the Gear S2, best buy will give you 10% off and another 10% off on any future purchases from them. That is kind of good of them. It was really Samsung's distribution that is at fault.
