The Samsung website has a set of instructional videos, which briefly state you should not subject the watch to fast running water "e.g. in the sea or in a shower." Yet there are folks out there reporting they are showering and swimming with their Gear S2 daily. Any thoughts? How water resistant is the Gear S2, really?-gears2water.png

And what does IP68 mean, exactly? Googling the term gets complicated arguments. Apparently 8 is not always better than 5 or 6, depending on circumstance.

There are videos on YouTube showing the S2 being dropped into a glass of water, and still functioning perfectly.

Personally, I'm not daft enough to purposely drop a $350 computer in the water -- but it's nice to know that if I get it wet it will still work.
