Recent gear s2 battery update

There were a few articles recently talking about a gear s2 battery update. Has anyone been able to get the update? I have the gear s2 3g (verizon) but have not seen it. My gear s2 version number does not match the update # mentioned in the articles. Is this for the Bluetooth version only or both cellular and Bluetooth versions. Thanks.

I think that Verizon update for the battery life is available to you as of today.

Just downloaded and installed the update for the 3G Verizon S2.

Fairly painless, took <5 minutes, with the watch restarting twice.

No obvious changes, nothing exciting. We shall see if the battery life improves.
