Number sync question.

[AC Question]

I have my Galaxy S7 and Gear s2 on number sync. When the two aren't connected, only the Gear receives phone calls and notifications. When the devices are connected via bluetooth only the phone relieves phone calls and text notifications. Is there a way to have both ring and notify simultaneously? I've tried both ways and I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing.
