Importing Tasks Lists into "My Notes"?

I've starting playing around with "My Notes" and, as there's no help link, just wondering if someone could suggest a way to import Google Tasks lists into a My Notes while keeping formatting (items broken out properly and, ideally, checkboxes added). "Sharing" a list to "My Notes" does work--it's just messy.
Other "nice to have" for this app would be ability to view the notes on a desktop (since they already sync to Dropbox).

Good ideas. If you set My Notes to sync with dropbox and then look inside your dropbox folder at the files, you can see the files there, which someone with modest programming skills might be able to decode and build some translators and/or desktop interfaces for.
