Verizon Gear 2 3g

Can the Galaxy Gear 2 3G from Verizon work on other networks? Dumb question but thought I'd ask it.

Good morning,
not a dumb question, it should work with any cdma carrier. I have an unlimited data plan with verizon and they wanted me to add a sub account to my plan to put the s2 on it which would run me about $30 a month for the watch. I went to page plus cellular and got set up with them to try it on a pay as you go for $12 ($14.57 with fees). got number and everything only 3g service on that plan though but figured i would test it out.
