Using Gear S2 and Gear S without the upgrading

Hello, currently i'm in T-Mobile service for Gear S, using with (AT&T) Note 5.

I'm thinking about adding Gear S2, but not as an upgrading from Gear S, so that i may interchangeably use both watches (obviously not at the same time. :) )

Is this doable?

Initially i thought i would just swap out the nano-sim card in Gear S, and use it in whatever watch i end up wearing.

But noticed that the Gear S2 has this e-Sim.

I haven't yet checked with T-Mobile, but does it sound like non-upgrade to purchasing Gear S2 is doable, so that i can keep both watches and wear them alternatively?

Thanks much.

From what I understand, the e-Sim is embedded inside the watch so it can not be removed or swapped out for another sim from the Gear S watch.

The e-Sim is 90% smaller then the sim card that the Gear S uses .

Remember though, that T-Mobile only charges $5 per watch so that may or may not be something you want to do.
