I don't think any non-specific fitness tracker (remember, your smartwatch is NOT a dedicated fitness tracker...it has fitness tracking capabilities, but limited ones at best!) will be able to translate spinning into steps unless you're swinging around your arms with every wheel turn. Yes, the vibration on the wrist while pedaling might trigger a few step counts, but it won't be near as accurate (not even close, either). For those activities you'd have to manually input the information in your fitness tracking app for calorie/activity approximations.
