I'd love to be able to use my S2 as a simple "controller" for a Gear VR--the only functionality I require is to be able to tap the S2 as a replacement for a simple tap on the touchpad on the Gear VR (no need for it to be able to recognize a swipe--not much difference in functionality I realize, but huge difference in ergonomics for someone with a shoulder injury.)
I'm not a programmer, but technically adept and wonder if this is theoretically possible and how challenging it might be. (In the abstract, it seems like it should be easy--just send a signal to phone that touchpad has been hit.) If not an app, would appreciate feedback on whether this is something Tasker could accomplish?
