Gear s2 stuck on "getting sync code"

I reset my gear s2 to connect it to my new note 7 and now it won't go past getting the sync code for number sync.

Any ideas?

I too had to reset my s2. I wasn't getting my text messages. Calls would come through and 1 text, then nothing. Had to send my watch into Samsung. Probably when I get it back it still won't work correctly. Did the number sync, then it would say "network not available".
My husband is on Verizon, has his watch on AT&T. His was working fine until we synced it to my note 7. Now he doesn't get his text messages either.
Wondering if maybe something with the note 7???

I had similar issues when I first got my Note 7. I logged on to my at&t account via the web site and turned NumberSuck off and the problems went away.
