    Hello Everyone,

I own a couple gear s3 frontier's sm-r760 and have an odd problem i can't seem to find anywhere on the internet. In the background of the watch, no matter what screen im on. It has a orange color message that asks me to "connect via wifi" with and X and a check. (Images attached) this is more noticeable when the screen is a lighter color.

This error is persistent through reboot, resets and even firmware upgrades. It happens on two of my frontiers but for some reason not on my s3 classic. The only other mention I can find of this error, maybe because I don't know what to call it, is on ebay. Ive found a few sellers that have watches with this issue.

If anyone has any suggestions or has heard of this problem and can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like screen burn in to me, just like what can happen with phones. With AMOLED screens, the pixels generate their own light. Over time, the pixels dim with use as they wear out.

When a static image is left on the screen for long periods of time, those pixels wear out and dim quicker than the others, leaving you with this shadowed image effect no matter what is displayed. The only solution to it is to replace the screen itself. This is a physical hardware problem, not software.
