How to Install Golf GPS Applications on to S3 Watch Gear?

Searched through the forum, could not find my topic.

- I do not have a Samsung device, have iPhone and Apple DEvices.

- i installed the Beta S3 Gear on an iPhone, has limited applications available.

Would anyone be able to help answer, what options are available to install Golf GPS Applications on to the S3 Watch? (Do you need a Samsung mobile device, is that the only way?)

With the beta version for IOS you can not install a paid app. Only free watch faces and a select few free apps are available. You'll have to wait for an updated beta or the release app.

With remote connect on the Frontier LTE, the phone connected to it doesn't have to be your primary phone. My S3 is paired to a cheap Samsung phone that never leaves the house. Its used for setup, installing apps, and passing thru notifications. My primary device (in my case, a tablet) isn't connected to the watch at all. I don't carry a smartphone, I wear the watch and have the tablet readily accessible, but not on me. A similar setup could work for iPhone users: pair the S3 with a dedicated Samsung phone and continue to use your iPhone independently.
