Answer phone via gear, call routed to phone instead

I have a Gear S3 BT model paired with a Samsung Note 8.

When the phone is also pared with my home cordless phone or my car, if I answer an incoming call the message on the grar says "see phone". I can't do anything via the watch because the phone is connected instead of the watch and I have to get the phone out to talk to the caller.

I would like it setup so that if I answer via the watch, I can talk through the watch. Whichever device answers the call should control things IMO.

I have the opposite problem: I often have the Do Not Disturb on my phone and when a call comes in I have to answer on my watch and though it shows a call on my phone I can't get access. The result is I answer 80% of calls on my Frontier LTE.

I have choice to answer anyway preferred, in the car my watch S3 BT rings, phone rings and car rings a bit overwhelming but can answer from any or call
