PIN works on phone, but not on Gear S3 Frontier

[Android Central Question]

I have verified several times over that I'm using the correct PIN for Samsung pay on my phone. When I try that pin on my watch, it always rejects it. Is the pin on my phone supposed to be the same on my watch? I don't recall ever being asked to set up a new one on my watch, but I can't get samsung pay to work on the watch. How can I get past this?

Your watch has its own pin go into your watch setting , i use a pin for SP only

yeah, you should have created a pin when setting up SP. and could definitely be different than your phone. I only use my fingerprint when I use my phone for SP
