Texting issue

I have a kind of odd texting issue. My wife has the Moment and when she sends me a text through her contact list it goes through just fine. The problem is that when text her back and she tries to reply back to that it doesn't go through. It looks like it is dropping off my area code and then says she needs the ten digit number causing her reply to fail. Has anyone had this problem. She's tried to delete me but the problem keeps happening and all her other contacts work correctly. Any ideas?

I have the exact same issue, and mine too is only with my husband's phone. He will text me, I will reply, and I will get an error message stating that the text message didn't go through because it needed a 10 digit number.

I then have to either reply by sending a New Message or forwarding the text I initially sent.

Can anyone help? So frustrating!
