Samsung Pay at the Pump

Has anyone tried Samsung Pay at a gas station pump?

I saw a video where someone, using Loop Pay, had to insert their drivers license into the pump and then place their phone up to the reader.
If I have to get my license out, I might as well get the debit card out instead.

It will not work at the pump (at least the part that mimics a card being swiped).

With the readers that you have to put the card in. The reader only works once a card is entered. So spay won't work
