No Samsung Pay for G920i?

Is it true that I cannot use samsung pay on my international Samsung Galaxy s6? I'm planniing on using the phone with t-mobile USA.

I have a G925i (edge version of 920i) that didn't get Samsung Pay today. I asked Samsung tech support and they said this:

"As of now only the carrier locked devices are compatible with Samsung Pay. The unlocked devices are not supported by Samsung Pay."

This is a deal breaker for me so I'll be returning my 925i and getting a TMo 925t.

When the region of your phone's firmware gets Samsung pay, then your phone will have the Samsung pay app available and will be ready to be used. As of now only Korea and USA, so any other phone that are not for those 2 regions won't be able to use it.

I too bought the G920i unlocked GS6 and I use it on AT&T here in the US. Learning that I cannot use samsung pay with this phone is a major let down. I'd consider selling it and buying the att version but my wife has the att version and every time I pick it up and see all the att crap it just totally turns me off. I wish I could get the att one and root it but if I do I cant use samsung pay so I'm totally screwed.

Just get the app, Package Disabler Pro, you can disable anything the carrier puts on there.

Never heard of package disabler, gonna have to look into this.

It's in the Play Store and several of us use it. It only works on Samsung devices. I have it on my TMO Note 5 and my AT&T Note 4.

You are able to disable things you only had access to with root previously.
