    Samsung keeps saying it's not available on Play I said it is and provided additional info. They are going to remote into my phone to look at it.

    Weird. I just went into Google Play, found the app, clicked on the name "Samsung Electric Company, Ltd.," and it doesn't show alongside the other Samsung apps. I wonder if the version we're seeing is a beta or something. (Hope it's not a hacked version.)

    The one i saw is legit, it list S health and other Samsung Apps from the dev.

    Samsung is now saying that the app is legit on the play store. They are now having me call into a 1800 number to get help. I'll post an update as to what is said.

    Okay update from Samsung. The app is legit, they confirmed it but said it's not "live" yet. They stated it will be live on October 20th and will work at that time. So looks like we wait a couple of days. I'm still going to keep trying it lol.

    Thanks for dogging that. Such a bummer that we still have to wait. Weird that Samsung would release it without it being "live."

    Several people on various forums are saying that they have been able to use various apk's floating around the Internet since Verizon pushed its update on Friday, so it seems strange that the official version doesn't work.

    Did you go in to the updates and check for "system updates"? I had to manually check to get the update.

    I think I check twice an hour! Lol. I read that it was pushing to the S6 and S6 edge now and the Note 5 and later or something like that.

    Saw the 20th date mentioned in a few places. Tried changing my phone date to the 21st just to see if it allowed it to install...

    Of course it didn't work but it was worth a try.

    Hopefully we find a workaround soon.

    I just talked with a Verizon Chat rep, they will be providing another OTA update on 10/20 at 12 pm Eastern Time that will allow it to work. This is separate and different from the one we just received on 10/16. Oh Verizon how crappy you have become on this stuff. LOL

    Guess I could be in a worse boat and not have the first one :P Ya they moved at a decent pace once they said they were supporting it . Still the whole thing just irks me really. I mean they knew back in April that Samsung pay was a reality. Then they knew about the beta back in August like all the other carriers, and here we are mid October before it gets done. Just bothers me a little is all lol. I will be happy though to finally get it and start putting it thru the paces. I have a tendency to leave my wallet at home or in the car
