Cannot connect to Yahoo.mail from phone

Greetings everyone,

My name is Debbie I am a grandma that lives in Michigan
I have developed a recent problem with my Samsung Replenish phone.
Yahoo made me change my password on my account. Since I did that I am
unable to get any Yahoo mail. I get a drop down yellow sign that says " unable
to connect to server".
I contacted Boost Mobile and they checked my phone and said the problem is with
Yahoo. I have been waiting for an answer back from Yahoo on what the problem could
be. Tried going into my settings and changing the PW...tried taking out the battery...I tried signing into Yahoo mail from my phone instead of using the mobile app and it says it is the wrong password....ugh...:'(
Any and all advice would so much be appreciated,

Did you try to login from a computer?
If you still can't then the problem is with your yahoo account.
If you can login on your computer I would try to clear the data/cache files from your email app, or do a factory reset.
