Boost Replenish Root Access Help....

Ok. I've been researching for some timee now and have not found an answer....

Here's my problem:

I want to root my phone but my computer won't connect to it. I have access to the root drive using an app I just got. I am able to copy, paste, delete, etc. I copied the files to my SD card and started browsing through them.

My Question:

Is rooting possible in my situation?

do you have the latest samsung drivers installed?

I do have the latest drivers installed. I'm thinking it might be the cable. It charges but the computer won't pick it up. I got a rooted update but when I try to update, it says "signature verification failed". ?? How can I fix this?
