samsung replenish root?

I have tried the Odin and the update.zip methods to root my replenish. Gingerbread fa19. My usb connection no longer works for some reason, even after factory wipe and rebbot of box and phone.
Notice I said I tried?
Any new news on this front for a one click, without a box, method?

a box? i dunno what u mean...however, what worked for me when i had this problem was un-installing then re-installing the drivers. then hook the phone up to computer(make sure debugging is enabled) and let the drivers finish installing. then try again. if you have the sdk installed, use adb to see if it worked open command prompt as admin, use 'cd' command to go to where adb is under platform-tools
Example fo my setup: cd C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools
then type 'adb devices'
it will start the daemon and will show the phone if everything is set up right
