AT&T S3: Trouble getting around Knox

Hey everyone,

I have been doing research on rooting for a while and finally decided to give it a try yesterday. I used CF autoroot and it seemed to work fine, but when I tried to open SuperSu to complete the process, access was denied by what appears to be Knox. I've been looking around for a solution, but nothing has worked thus far.

If this question has already been answered, I'd really appreciate a point in the right direction.

Oh, got ahead of myself. I'm using an ATT SGH-1747 with 4.3.

In case anyone else is having this issue, I was able to successfully root the device by flashing SuperSU in a custom recovery mod. Afterward, I was able to update SuperSU in Play and disable Knox!

Thanks for posting this. As this is the first I have seen this thread, sort I couldn't make some sort of suggestion sooner.

What do you mean by custom recovery mod?

He means a recovery like ClockWorkMod.
