    Hi,

I am new to rooting just so you all know. I have rooted my phone with Kernel Linux Version 2.6.35.7-E12. I have tried downloading multiple overclocking programs and I cannot set the speed past 1000MHz, which is the stock max. frequency. Will the Kernel I currently have allow me to overclock, or do I need to download another?

Thank you, help me all you can please!

Stock kernels do not allow for over clocking... You will need to use a custom kernel. Also, due to something strange in all kernels for the Strat, it will not be reset on reboot and will return to factory settings after being disconnected from a charger/PC.
