Question Android 13 issue with Phone app

Yes, it's traditional cell calls. In its predecessor, Tab A7 Lite, it was a problem with the absence of Proximity sensor, other than that it also were traditional cell calls. " It's the point of my question - looks like it's not Phone app - it works fine - it's Android version: in Android 11...

Question Android 13 issue with Phone app

Hi Android 13 Samsung Galaxy tablet (A7 Lite; A9 8.7" with One UI 5.1.1) unlike say Android 11 tablets, shows phone calls in small window and not in full screen. It's bad, say I clicked on Keypad but then I don't have Speaker icon :-( 1) When I am making calls: Android 11 tablet brings full...

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - 'double tap to unlock' question

For some reason I saw your answer only yesterday. Yes, it works, no "double-tap-to-unlock"! Also, I've just decided to try, instead of my bluetooth headphones, to use regular small 'in-ear' ones as my tablet has 3mm jack. Works too - no double-tap messages! Big thanks!

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - 'double tap to unlock' question

Yes, it comes immediately,so I am stuck (many people experience that, i.e. this poor woman cries for help in androidforums.com) Following your advice I posted in XDA-Developers.com - if developers know what system service is doing that over-protection (it's like "you cannot drive to work as...

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - 'double tap to unlock' question

Thanks for the idea - I just tested (Samsung Members Diagnostic) - yep, no proximity sensor. So that "double tap to unlock" really could be related to that fact, right? If so, is it known what system service is responsible for such over-protecting (to avoid accidental touches)? I would disable...

I can make calls and receive calls (SIM card with phone number; Phone app) BUT there is a very annoying problem: When i try to make or answer a call, a dark gray screen pops up over the whole dialing screen with a padlock icon and the words "double tap to unlock". Related question: does my...

Android 12 two UI changes - can I revert to old UI?

May be my 1st reply was not clear - I do have that phone option shown on your screen-shot! BUT it is for different case: when I am on some app screen, say Amazon app or editor and incoming call happens. While I am asking about incoming call when I am on Home screen. The option on your...

No, I have regular SIM card with phone number and can receive calls and make calls (that option you mentioned is for linking say my other Samsung phone to this device via Samsung account - no, I don't need that) P.S. I am afraid now to update my s10e phone to Android 12 - even on my large...

Android 12 two UI changes - can I revert to old UI?

To mustang7757 For Question 2, Phone calls: those settings are for calls when it's NOT on Home screen - as it says, "when you use other apps". Android 12 two UI changes - can I revert to old UI?

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite just upgraded to Android 12: 1) Settings app - unhappy with new 2-column design, can it be set to old way? 2) Incoming phone calls while I am on Home screen are not full screen size, but in some smaller frame. Can it be as before - full screen? Thanks, Paul
