2. Still no notifications on responses to blog comments - I suppose you guys are working on it.

Anything I can ever do within my given position & skill level I will always do for you the members

One suggestion. It be great if you could seach for all your comments on the blog just like you can search for all your posts on the forums.04-23-2012 01:55 PMLike 0 - Blog criticism:
Can you guys PLEASE tone down the big banners at the top?
I'd like to arrive on the site with at least one story visible, instead I have to wait for humongous graphics to load which serve no purpose but to take you to a story (that, chances are, you've already read).

- Yeah I'm really liking the changes myself...and....I'm someone who hates change, so you KNOW it must be good.
Thanks and great job!

- The mouse roll-over info is missing from the menubar choices in the primary editor (basic) while doing a routine "reply" to message (not in Advanced). This is using IE9/Win7.
Is there any way we can set our default editor so as not to have to select "Switch Editor" every time? (NM, I found the setting in UserCP)
Also, appreciate the larger fonts in AC overall, but in the primary editor (well, basic editor), upon a reply, the default font is still very small as displayed on the screen. Can that be increased? It's fine in the "Switch Editor" mode and advanced.
Version 3 is much better than v1 and v2. Thanks!

Don't have an ETA on this, but will put it on the list. Hopefully can make that happen fairly quickly.Paul627g likes this.04-24-2012 11:20 AMLike 1 - Now that I've had a chance to use it more, I do have to agree with others that there is too much white. It wasn't as noticeable earlier at work on older monitors, but now at home on my newer laptop, it's virtually blinding white to the point I almost have to turn down the brightness level of the screen.
That's where the clean look comes from! Also, the bold and italic buttons in both editors have been working fine for me (Win7/IE9).

- Yeah, I was not kidding about the white. I think it's the white that gives it such a nice clean and crisp unobstructed look. I really do like it.
Hey, is there any way you could fix it so when you scroll totally to the top of the forum, that you could see the path navigation bar?
This one..

I'm so used to just scrolling to the top of forum pages and quickly choosing to change area this way (or bottom, same issue here at AC). It it s little bit of a pain to have to hunt for it because it is below so many other things. I wind up scrolling to the top, then down until I find it, sometimes passing it yet again, and then scrolling back up, then clicking on where I want to go. Oh... and it is such a small font.
Thanks for all the work. I do like this v3!
-Frank04-25-2012 07:37 PMLike 0 - CrackBerry KevinMobile Nations Chief Media OfficerGood feedback. We'll put this on the to do list as something to look at. The font on the breadcrumb definitely is a little small, especially relative to the other fonts we're using which are quite a bit bigger. In the same note, we also want to work on the pagination a bit (page one, two, etc.) so it's a bit bigger - need to be easy to tap when browsing on a phone.

Multi-quote button doesn't work here in the forum...??
Anyway the link above is great if you access it from a book mark or something, but if you arrive via the primary URL, you would expect to click the link in the "Headlines" section and achieve the same results.
However that link (shown below) fails to do anything in any browser I've tried it with:
04-26-2012 11:50 AMLike 0 - Pretty sure that link is just there to let you get out of phone-only, tablet-only views. You can't really expect a huge web site to banish banners just for you -- I'm surprised they gave you a link at all. lol.

04-26-2012 11:53 AMLike 0 - Bug report. I'm having an issue with how the forum shown old vs new (i.e. read vs unread) threads. Sometimes I log in and it shows threads as yellow (unread) even though I've read those threads and there hasn't been any new post on them. Sometimes I log in and it shows threads as blue (read), but it's definitely new stuff I haven't seen.
I've been trying to pay attention, but I haven't been able to figure out a pattern. Maybe you guys can look into it. Or maybe I'm just not using the forum right, and someone needs to expain it to me.04-26-2012 04:15 PMLike 0 - Blog criticism:

-Frank04-27-2012 11:33 AMLike 0 - New bug: when there is a really long thread with multiple pages, and you click on "last page" you get taken many pages before the last page.
Edit: Found something that is probably directly tied into the bug above. I have my posts per page set at 30 but its only showing 10 per page.
So I think the forum is sending me to a page after I hit last page that its thinking I am showing 30 posts per page. Hope that made sense.
Was working fine yesterday, so this just came up today.04-27-2012 01:05 PMLike 0
