CPU frequency won't change in CM10

Hello everyone,
I recently rooted my phone and flashed CM10. Wanting to get better battery life, I decided to play around the Min/Max CPU frequency settings but have not been able to get the changes to stick. If I make changes to either of them, it just changes back to the default (currently Min: 384, Max: 1512). Is there something I'm missing?

The CPU Governor is still set to Interactive, which is the default I believe.

download No Frills CPU from play store and in "settings", check box "prevent changes from other apps (or system)"

Thanks! I was having the same problem and that fixed it. I wonder what caused that to happen in the first place. other apps?
