I was trying to do a backup of my snapchat folder (where all the stored photos are) but my computer had a mental breakdown and in the midst of it all it froze. And poof. My folder was gone. I have tried lots to recover the files, without luck. Do I need to get someone to recover the folder/files for me? I hope I havent overwritten everything by trying to recover them.

    Anyone has an idea?

Welcome to Android Central! How are you looking on the phone for the folder--using a file manager app? Make sure it's set to show hidden files/folders. Also, take a look in the LOST.DIR directory, if it's present.
