I'm trying to find if there is a way to remove the gallery/camera app from flashable gapps or download gapps without it? I am running Cyanogen 10.1RC2 it has their camera software built in, but when I flash gapps it replaces it with the stock one in gapps. I tried to delete it from the the gapps I am flashing, but all that did was leave me with no camera app at all.

I found a solution. If you un-install the gallery app, (I used Titanium Backup) then re-flash the ROM without wiping data it will replace the gallery app with tho one included in the ROM.

Step#
1. Install the ROM and flash gapps.
2. Un-install the gallery app. (I used Titanium Backup)
3. Re-flash the ROM or an update to the ROM without wiping data, this way you don't have to re-install gapps.

It's kind of a pain, but it works. Now I have the camera app with all the included HDR mode and what knots. Only problem is it doesn't have photosphere.
