Which programs do you use?

Hi all,

I am a novice developer. So I went into developing blind. I have experience in web design and graphic design but practically nothing in app design.

So far I have been using Eclipse and the MIT android app developer.

I am curious what programs you guys use as I am sure you guys have tried many different programs and know what the best ones to use are.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Geany occasionally on *nix.

CodeLite on FreeBSD.

i am just looking at developing apps for android and would like advice on what to use and if there is a online course anyone can suggest

Best two that I use and seem to be almost universal if you are attempting to build a free app with the intent to integrate with a ad network (which should be your end result when building your app in my opinion) would be to use either Eclipse or IntelliJ.
