FM Radios on Androids

There has been a lot of discussion on the internet regarding usage of FM Radio on Androids without the need to plug in / insert a 3.5 MM jack i.e a headset of similar. However, there is no clarity on whether it is possible through software to do it by bypassing the requirement of insertion of a plug into the 3.5mm jack.

I requests the experts on this forum to throw some light on whether it is possible to listen to FM Radios without inserting something in the 3.5 MM jack?

The wire in the head phones is the antenna so without it you won't get a signal. No software will fix that.
