With traditional computers, you can map a server drive and allow your program to store its files on the server and the program doesnt know it isnt on the local machine. I can do this with databases and have several backend databases linked to one frontend and the frontend sees them all a s being local. Has anyone came up with a hack or app that lets you do this with cloud storage like dropbox?

If there was some way to dothis through emulation, you could have the same app on multiple devices using the same backend files and not storing them locally and have to worry about syncing the files as well as not using up device storage.
