Can android smartphone support database of 700MB ?

I working on project that require the use of database in android smartphone. however, the data is huge ( around 700MB) so I am wondering if database support that size and what will be the approximate time to access such data

Yes, if someone with that knowledge responds. If you don't get a response, you can "bump" the thread by adding a simple reply of your own to bring the thread up the list of new posts, making it more visible to the community.
 
From the computer point of view, 700 MB is a small-ish database.
While I have not done any DB work on a smart phone, I would not think this to be that much different.

The big catch in any of this is how well (or badly) the DB is designed.
