Anyone try rooting the Z1s with Z1 root programs?

Haven't had an android phone since selling my Nexus 4. The Z1 and Z1s basically have the same identical internals so I'm wondering if the Z1 root programs would work or if the root was a software dependent...

I would like to know this as well.. I'm coming from Galaxy S4 so there seemed to be a lot more information for the Samsung phones than Sony phones...

Root is software dependant. That's why even with two of the same phones (TMo and ATT S4) you have different root methods and files.
Internals could be similar but they won't be exactly the same, I'd wait for a Z1S root method
