Hi I am Rupesh from India and recently I have barrowed Sony Xperia Z1 c6902 mobile from my friend. when I brought my mobile he has upgraded os to lollipop 5.0.1 and twrp was installed.

when I brought my mobile volume output was very low and so I have flashed dolby_digital_plus using twrp I was able to get maximum output through headphones only but unable to get output through external speakers even incoming calls and so I have tried a number of ways still the issue was not solved but this time there is no sound output through external speakers and internal speakers.

I have searched web to get Xperia c6902 flashable twrp zip file but unfortunately I found none so I have downloaded sony flashtool called emma and by launching emma and I have connected my mobile to windows pc emma has shown message as unknown device has been connected selected so choose your model and in that list there was no c6902 but found c6903. I have selected c6903 and after that emma has shown 3 firmwares and in that I have selected one and after that I have selected apply changes and finally lollipop version 5.0.2 has been flashed.

I am able to boot into os but networking performance is very slow like in bluetooth,wi fi etc., but okay I can adjust but when I insert a sim card it is not detecting that. when I search for imei number it is showing as unknown. I have searched for imei number by using code *#06# and by launching es task manager and by checking hardware section.

At this time along with imei number unknown error I have noticed another eroor ie., when I search for model number in about phone in settings it is showing as c6903.

please suggest a solution in order to detect sim card and if possible remaining like getting high volume.

    Regards,
    Rupesh.

The solution was to have been recording the IMEI number before you started fooling around with the phone. Now you'll have to hope that the manufacturer or your carrier can get it back for you (assuming it's not on the label - if it is, there are programs you can use to edit the number in the phone, to restore it).
