Verizon's LTE network uses band 13 allegedly - so does that mean the Z2 (which has that band) works?

Just to confirm: this phone is a GSM phone, so it will not work with verizon? Despite Verizon using LTE bands that this phone uses?

I do not believe the Z2 has a cdma radio, gsm only.

I'm in the same boat.... Would love to have this device on Verizon. Maybe if the Z2 is successful, they will partner with vzw in a year or so.....

if it has band 13 capability, then it should work on Verizon LTE band 13. However, if it is not verizon certified, then you probably won't get voice or 2g/3g data or texts.

Last I heard Sony left the US mobile phone market. Has something changed? I really do like the Z2 but don't like the idea of importing one.
