Xperia z2 or moto x play? (also posting in x play forums)

So i want to replace my lg g3 and i found a really good deal for the z2, which was priced at £259.
The x play comes in at £269.
Which should i buy and which has tje better screen, camera, performance etc.?

I really like the moto x play ive had ago on it in carphone warehouse and was thinking of getting it but i prefer the glass and metal of my xperia z2. Plus the z2 has the 801 wich is a higher chip then the 615.. The z2 in my opinion would be the better option especially with the price.. I payed 300 from argos about 6 months ago and i love it.. Running sweet on 5.1. And looking forward to marshmallow

Hey man hows the camera on the z2? And does it overheat?

Im coming from an lg g3 btw which I am trying to return due to mediocre battery life and screen.

I actually owned the g3 befor this sony Xperia z2 so here's what I think about the Sony over the g3.

Sony has better camera, better build, its faster, far better battery life, it doesn't overheat, has dual front stereo speakers, water & dust resistant, the screen produces better colour and contrast

The g3 is a great phone especially with how cheap it is but as a long time android user i prefer the z2 over the g3 by a big difference.. Its all down to personal preference i dont care for qhd screen resolution as yet so the 1080p z2 is perfectly fine for me.. On the plus for the g3 tho its getting 6.0 marshmallow soon as is the z2 so personally out of the moto x play and the z2 id buy the z2 as it came out as a flagship phone and the moto isnt
