My Sony Xperia Z2 Android 6.0.1 hotspot often fails for HTTPS (port 443) connections, OK for port 80, etc. So in failure mode most web browsing impossible but email OK, ping to bbc.co.uk OK.
Sometimes works perfectly after a reboot.
Not an ISP problem, my wife's Samsung phone never has such a problem, she has an identical subscription with TalkMobile (MVNO on Vodafone).
Big problem for me as BT/Openreach has repeatedly failed to provide me a working phone line, but 4G signal is OK,so any help would be appreciated.
