Help!

Had the phone on charge, I believe it was roughly at around 85% as I'd checked it briefly before. Picked up the phone to unplug it, pressed the unlock button on the side to no response. Phone now seems completely unresponsive. There is even a flashing green notification top left but other than that the phone seems completely dead & unresponsive. Camera button won't work etc. Any ideas/suggestions short of taking it back?

Try a reboot with the button located near the USB port. Follow these instructions for the Z2 (the Z3c doesn't have a red button, but it is in the same location): http://sony-xperia.mobi/eng/sony-xp...hysical-hard-reset-button-sony-xperia-z2.html

No don't think so it's all built in. Tried calling it to see if that jars it into life and still unresponsive. Tried connecting to my pc. Also nothing. Strange the green notification light is still flashing.
