    Not complaining one bit but when I swipe up, only Google now is there. I don't remember update g the phone at all. Is this something Sony did or can do ota?

    That's interesting, because only about a month ago, this article described the involved method of getting rid of "What's New": How to disable the What's New application on the Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2

    What version of Google Play Services do you have? 6.5 is rolling out right now, so if you have 6.5, I wonder if it somehow broke What's New (which might be a good thing).

    I noticed what's new updated yesterday on my z3c. Now launcher is gone and it's only Google now. I wonder is this was intentional by Sony. Maybe they were listening to feedback from customers and changed it.

    After some digging, it seems it was an app update directly to the What's New app. Sony may actually be listening to customers. And/or my other thought was maybe they're giving their phones an even more stock skin to play nice with Android L. That's my wishful thought anyway. Either way, it's awesome imo.
