Xperia Z3 Compact keeps shutting down Bluetooth

Dear all,

Hopefully someone out there knows something that could help here.
My precious Z3C has become almost useless to me since its Bluetooth function stopped working. Whenever I try to start Bluetooth it will act like it's turning on but after 20 seconds it will defy all logic and turn itself back off without ever turning blue and no Bluetooth sign appearing.

I have tried all the drills. Factory reset. Start in safe mode. Clear cache. It could be a software issue since I thought it started around the time when I updated it to 6.0.1.

But I'm starting to think it's hardware related. That's why I already ordered a backup (Xperia X Compact) since I need the bluetooth function for a GPS Tracker. My bike got stolen the other day and I won't let it happen again.

But I would still like to be able to use this phone since it's still in pretty good shape. It just fails the Bluetooth test in the "help" settings and got a little slower.

Anyone out there got an answer? I would really appreciate it.
