Why doesn't my Z3+ phone allow saving contacts on the Gmail account?

Z3+ Phone doesn't allow saving contact on Gmail account

Phone is a Z3+ dual sim.

I've linked my Gmail account to the phone and am receiving new email just fine. My old contacts have all been updated into the new phone automatically .

However, when adding new contacts, I would get a message saying that the new contact will not sync with Gmail, and offer two choices, Keep Local or Add Account. Add account directs me to use another service like MS Exchange, keeping local means it's not syncing.

How can I sync new contacts with Gmail account which is already in the accounts under Contacts?

No, it is not human error. I have exactely same problem. I own Z3 dual and Z3+ dual. The problem does not exist on my Z3.

Same problem with my Xperia M2 Dual. It's not human error and I tried a lot. Anyone got a solution yet?
