Why don't my photos in internal storage show in the album app?

My photos in internal storage does not show in the album app.

I have a sony experia z3. I copied some photos from my PC to my phone via the media go software that comes with the phone. When I open the Album app on the phone the photos are not there. everything is in file commander under internal storage. even the music.. Please help. I don't know what to do anymore.

Welcome to Android Central! What directory are the photos in? Use the file manager app to look in that directory for a file called ".nomedia". You might have to change a setting in the file manager to show hidden files. If you find it, delete it. The photos should now appear in the Gallery. If they disappear again, look again for that .nomedia file. If it reappears, then some app keeps creating it, because the folder you're using was never intended to display in the Gallery. Move the photos to a different folder (like the Pictures folder).
