contacts messed up after update

Wife's Epic was acting up and the guys at Sprint 'ran an update' for her. When she got it back, it was wiped clean; no downloaded apps, no accounts were configured (facebook, twitter, gmail or other email, etc).

The weird thing was that the contacts list had all her contacts from pre-update and additionally, from her facebook and twitter accounts; which were not configured on the phone, and never had been set up to add contacts from these sources.

So how do I remove the twitter and facebook contacts and keep the wanted contacts without going thru each one (several hundred) and manually deleting? There are no accounts set up to sync or un-sync; the unwanted contacts are just there.

Do another hard reset of the system, that should take care of the issue. Since there is nothing on the device, you don't have to worry about losing anything.
