So basically out of the blue my capacitive buttons do not turn on, or function whatsoever. To use my phone I need to slide open the keyboard and hit the various buttons in order to replicate the action.
I reverted to EC05 and then followed the ota update to EI22, and rooted it from there using odin and the ACS CWM still cant find a solution to the capacitive buttons not working. I'm certain its a hardware issue now so I looked for a rom that would give me the on screen buttons found on 4.0, and even after flashing ACS ICS 5.5, I can't get the on screen buttons to work.
IS there even a rom out there for the epic that allows for the on screen buttons to work?? If not I'm going to need to find a new phone.....
