    anyone who ordered online and successfully activated the phone upon turning it on? Mine wouldn't work.. It's suppose to auto activate. I bought from newegg

    That happened with my EVO when I had that. I had to call customer service and have them help me do it manually.

    damn this new screen is so clean I don't want to touch it.. been on speaker phone so far because I don't want to put my greasy ear against it

    okay looks like auto in-phone activation only works for brand new accounts.. no idea why sprint didn't communicate that restriction to its vendors..

    So do call into sprint customer service from a different number. Your current phone and the Epic both must be shut off during this process.
