Internal Error when updating

I noticed while waiting for the update that if I tried to manually update the firmware, PRL, or profile I get an internal error message telling me to try again later. This morning the update finally came through and I installed it, I believe I have it as the screen is dimmer and the media hub now works, but after reboot the phone tried to update firmware and it failed with the same message.

This is my first android phone and it's all new to me, is it something I can fix or diagnose myself? I know for a fact the PRL update was working because I was using that to help with the time without signal problem. Weird thing is, when I was updating the PRL it would say it updated and then restart the radios, the last time I saw it work it said there was no PRL update and there was no restart.

I had the same problem after rooting and unrooting. I ended up exchanging my Epic today due to 3G radio issues though, so the new one has no problems.

what 3g radio issues? i never had this problem till just recently
