How Do I Roll Back to 2.1?

Revert back to 2.1 while on official 2.2?

I upgraded my Epic to Froyo manually when the firmware was available on the samsung website. The firmware is extremely buggy, and I'm getting tired of it. The final straw is when I tried to shoot a video this weekend and it said that the video camera failed.

Can I go back to 2.1 while they fix these bugs? My phone is also rooted. Thanks!

I had the same problem and I took it into Sprint and they did a hard reset to remove 2.2.

There is a way but you have to know how to flash with odin. There is a thread on how to do it.

Procedure #1 will restore Froyo EB13 version 2.2.1

Procedure #2 will restore Eclair DI18 version 2.1

Just so you know almost all problems were with the EB13 OTA update (Over The Air) You could do the update.zip or if your phone came with it you should be ok...

thanks guys. my phone came with it but it still has the camera issue and now my texts are coming in late...does anyone have that issue with the texts even in 2.1?
