Battery Life

Everyone with 7hrs plus of screen time is great. Also can I ask why some of you are running battery saving apps. They don't really help.
Just my two cents. Can't wait until I have mine in hand soon. I would love to have 7hrs of screen time. Right my my NexusS4g gives me 2.5 plus screen time.

I have noticed a difference in my battery life when I don't have battery saving enabled. It helps. But I can still go all day without having to charge!

Here's a screen shot of how long my Note 2 lasted while at Disneyland. I used it as my primary camera, taking over 100 pix with the stock app and with Fast Burst Pro (92 pictures). My old Photon would have died at 30 pictures.

I run no battery saving apps and routinely get 3-4 hours of screen time with 50% to 60% of my battery life left.

I'd say it is pretty decent considering the time your phone was running, screen time, apps utilized and percent leftover.

I would say "little" rather than "not a ton. " Your top four processes were the OS, idle, and system other than screen.

Battery life is going to vary based on signal. Poor reception is a big battery drain many times.

This is what I am getting.



The main things to consider are screen time and screen brightness. I consider this moderate use.

Phone. Camera. Video. Browsing. Tapatalk. The vast majority of the day was spent using wifi. Data usage drains the phone faster. I keep data off unless I need it (rarely). GPS always on. bluetooth always on.

Have a number of apps disabled by titanium: allshare, DRM, NFC, music hub, game hub, Kies, media hub, most Samsung apps, SNS (not sure what this is, but it has a Facebook icon), all sprint apps and tags.

It's interesting that many Note 2 reviews said the battery was merely adequate and enough to get you through the day. One of the few times that battery life was way better than reviews indicated.
