Does anyone know if the U.S. carrier variant has a Wolfson dac?

Also hoping to get a sense just in general for audio quality, output when connected via auxiliary to a car stereo, and whether or not the "popping" issue that existed with the S3 is present again.

    Many thanks in advance.

It has the same Wolfson DAC as the international GS3, even less hissing, and it sounds amazing even without an amp.

Page 3 - " Sounds incredible to me. And for some reason I prefer to use the Note 2 DAC rather than bother with USB OTG cables and use the built in Leckerton DAC."
